Maximus Vogt is an arts administrator, curator, and archivist based in New York City. Currently, he is the Assistant Registrar at Nino Mier Gallery. Maximus completed his B.A. in Art History at Colorado State University in 2026. His scholarship focuses on contemporary art, snapshot photography, and queer histories, having presented original research at multiple regional and national art history symposia. He has held positions in the Modern and Contemporary Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MTA Arts & Design, and the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery in Washington, D.C. He has assisted with and curated exhibitions focusing on time-based media, contemporary photography, photojournalism, and modern architecture.
